東京書作展選抜作家展 2014： Tokyo Calligraphy Competition, Selected Calligraphers Exhibition 2014

みなさま　お元気でいらっしゃいますか？　

Shorinは先週、 (人生初!) インフルエンザにかかってしまい、数日寝込んでしまいました。　よいお医者とお薬のおかげで、すっかり良くなり、もうすぐ仕事にもどります。 (^^)/ メール、メッセンジャー、お電話またFB上でお見舞いのメッセージを頂いた皆様、ありがとうございました！　

さて、一大ニュースです!

"東京書作展選抜作家展2014" が 東京都美術館にて、２月１５日（土）から２月２１日(金）まで、開催されます。　Shorinのお作品も、会期中、展示して頂いています。

今回のShorinのお作品は、90 x 240 cm という大きいもので、「隷書」 という書体で書いたものです。 題材は中国の古い漢詩ですが、東北の被災地の方々を思いながら書いたお作品です。　　

もちろん、他の素晴らしい先輩諸氏の作品や、才能あふれる新人のみなさまのお作品も多数展示されております。　機会がございましたら、ぜひ、お立ち寄り頂き、お作品ご覧くださいませ。　乞うご期待！

Hope you are all doing well.

I got the flu (for the first time in my life!) last week and stayed in bed for a few days. Thanks to a nice doctor and some medicine I am fine now and back to work.

Also thank you for all the kind messages via E-mail, messenger, phone or on FB.

Here are some big news.

The Tokyo Calligraphy Competition, Selected Calligraphers Exhibition 2014 will be held in TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM, from Feb. 15th(Sat) to the 21st (Fri) .

My calligraphy work will be displayed there throughout the period.

My work is one of a large size (90 x 240 cm), written in REISHO style, and the theme is of an old Chinese poem which I chose as a message for the TOHOKU disaster victims.

Of course, there will be many wonderful works by senior calligraphers and talented rookies as well. If you have a chance, please stop by and have a look at them. Please don't miss it!
