第34回 東京書作展 入選作品 「登兗州城楼 - 杜甫」: The 34th Tokyo Calligraphy Competition "Climbing the castle in Yanzhou." DU FU.

第34回　東京書作展　入選作品です。
　
題材は、杜甫の漢詩　「登兗州城楼」（兗州(えんしゅう）の城楼に登る) 　- 杜甫が、父の赴任先である兗州を訪ねた際、父の教えに従ってその城郭に登り、楼上から四方を眺めて得た感慨を歌ったものです。　その高らかとした気持ちが表現できていればと思います。　 　

「俺はこれが好きだなあ。」　と、師匠が選んで下さった作品が、入選でした。　(やはり！）

このような作品展に出品するときは、同じ作品を何十枚も書いて、そのうち、これはと思うものを候補として残し、最後には師匠に一枚選んで頂くのですが、その際に、ふとそんな風に言われたことが、とても印象に残っている作品です。

写真ではわかりにくいのですが、この作品は、和紙に特殊なパール加工が施され、キラキラと柔らかい光沢のある紙を使用しています。 ただそのために墨がことごとく弾かれて浮き、とても難しかったのですが、結局は、迷わず、毅然と筆を走らせることで、線が明朗になってくれたように思います。　

Web上で大変失礼ながら、改めまして、会場でご覧下さいました皆様、お祝いのメッセージを頂きました皆様、本当にありがとうございました。　これからも、少しでも良いものを見て頂けるよう、精進してまいります。

最後に、ご指導頂きました 内野七色 先生、激励とアドバイスを頂きました書壇の先輩方、ならびに関係諸氏のみなさまに心から深く御礼申し上げます。　今回の入選、ひとえに皆様のおかげ、わたしは自らの歩みの遅いことが、ただ恥ずかしいばかりではございますが、今後とも、ご指導のほど、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

This is my work which was accepted for the 34th TOKYO Calligraphy Competition. DU FU's Chinese Poem, "Climbing the castle in Yanzhou." This is about DU FU's deep emotional attachment when he climbed up a castle in a mountain in Yanzhou, following the lesson of his father who was stationed there. I hope this expresses some impression of pleasure described his heart out.

"Oh, I like this one." My teacher said that way when he picked this, and he was right, this has been accepted. (Wow!)

When we submit calligraphy works for competition, we usually prepare tens of the same and our teacher chooses one. When he picked this, he said that and it is some good memory about this for me.

It is not really clear in the picture but I used Japanese paper with pearl finish for this. That gives the paper really soft glitter and making it very difficult to write as that sheds ink so much. So I just run the brush firmly and with no trace of hesitation then the lines look to have some cheerful quality.

Here I would like thank all the people who saw this at the competition or those who sent me warm congratulatory messages. I will keep doing my best so that I can publish better works for all of you.

Lastly and the most importantly, thank you truly for Uchino Nanairo-sensei and all the people who advised and encouraged me during preparation. I am looking forward to learning more with you all.

東郡趨庭日　
南楼縦目初
浮雲連海岱
平野入青徐
孤嶂秦碑在
荒城魯殿余
従来多古意
臨眺独躊厨

兗州の城楼に登る

東郡　庭に趨(は)する日
南楼　目を縦(ほしい)ままにするの初め
浮雲　海岱に連なり、平野　青徐に入る
孤峰　秦碑在り、荒城　魯殿余る
従来　古意多し、臨眺して独り躊躇す

東郡、ここ兗州の地で父の教えを奉じている日、初めて州城の南楼で遠望をほしいままにした。
浮雲は東海や泰山のかなたにまで連なり、平野は青州や徐州の方まで続いていた。
ひとりそばだつ屏風山には秦の始皇帝の石碑が今なお残っており、荒れはてた町には魯王の宮殿がそのあとをとどめている。
城楼に登り立って四方を眺めながら、わたしはただひとりたち去りかねている。
