その 「浜離宮」 です。 - This is HAMA RIKYU PARK

みなさま。　

前回、「浜離宮の梅」　をご紹介しましたところ、 「浜離宮って、どこだっけ？　神戸のほう？」 と、真顔でお尋ねになる日本人の方があり　(爆）。。。 改めまして、謹んで　「浜離宮恩賜庭園」　をご紹介させて頂きます。(^^)/

JR、地下鉄各線 「新橋」駅　から徒歩10分、 あるいは、都営大江戸線　「汐留」駅　/ 「築地市場」駅　から徒歩5分、汐留の高層ビルの立ち並ぶエリアと、隅田川の間にあり、まさに都会のオアシスといったところです。

写真は、梅の写真を撮った日の、浜離宮です。　　近代的なビル群と、日本風のお池の茶屋が、対照的。　ミスマッチという方もあるかもしれませんが、私は好きです。　

ちなみに、”神戸のほう”　といっておられるのは、おそらく　「須磨離宮公園」　ですね。　（笑）

After I introduced Japanese plum in HAMA RIKYU Garden in my blog, somebody （Japanese) seriously asked me " Where is HANA RIKYU Garden? Is that somewhere close to KOBE??" (LOL)... Here I am introducing HAMA RIKYU KOEN with my great pleasure. :)

It is 10 minute walk from JR/Subway "SHIMBASHI" station or 5 minutes from TOEI OEDO LINE "SHIODOME" or "TSUKIJI SHIJO" station. Being located between SHIODOME's cluster of high-rise buildings and the SUMIDA river, it is just like an urban oasis.

The picture is the one I took on the same day with the plum blossom in my previous entry. The Japanese style pond and teahouse contrast sharply with the modern buildings. Some would say it is a mismatch but I like it.

BTW, the one "somewhere around KOBE" is probablly "SUMA RIKYU PARK".

This also is a wonderful park with ocean view and gorgeous rose garden. if you have a chance to visit KOBE, it is the place to go!
